The last hybrid project partner meeting
The partner meeting of the EPIC project was held on the 30th and 31st of August, 2022 in Piraeus, Greece, and hosted by IDEC SA.
Partners had the chance to meet in person and also in the online space for the last time and discuss the goals and progress of the project. They spoke about the final steps of the project and the exploitation of the qualitative results.
All of them shared their experience with the Testing and most of them also with the Multiplier events/Conferences already realized in their home countries. The top of the agenda was also participants´ feedback that partners obtained through 
the pilot testing and the improvement of the results according to participants´ needs.
IDEC SA Multiplier Event – conference – 21 September 2022, Greece
On 21/9/2022, IDEC SA with the support of the Association of SAs and Entrepreneurship organized the Multiplier Event of the EPIC project online. The webinar was very successful and many distinguished speakers participated. The Webinar was greeted by the General Secretary of Research and Innovation, Mr. Athanasios Kyriazis from the Greek Ministry of Development and Investment. Speakers represented almost all fields that can contribute to the development of Innovation in SMEs offering likewise an integrated approach to the thematic of the EPIC project and the tools offered to Greek SMEs. In specific, the speakers represented:
- Innovation Support Networks: Enterprise Europe Network
- Research and Innovation Networks that offer support for Innovation Development: National Centre For Scientific Research “Demokritos”, Science Agora supported by Google, Digital Innovation Hub AHEDD & Smart Attica European Digital Innovation Hub Financial Institutions
- Financial Institutions: Innovation Support Department of National Bank of Greece, Business Seeds
- Greek SMEs with Innovative practices: Prime Laser Technology, HIGGS (incubator- an accelerator of innovative social enterprises)
During the webinar, all outputs of the EPIC project were disseminated and speakers and participants showed great interest in exploiting them. The impact of the webinar is considered substantial.

Hybrid Transnational Project Meeting in Portugal
The latest hybrid Transnational Project Meeting (TPM) was held in Portugal, Cascais on 30 – 31 March 2022. The host organization was Portugal partner WEOPLE which replaced a TPM that was supposed to take place last year in England but had to be canceled due to the pandemic.
Almost all project partners were present personally except a partner from Greece that participated online on both days.
After the welcoming from WEOPLE, a warm-up activity was organized, which required participants to work together. Following, presentations of the online self-assessment toolkit commenced. Along with the presentation of the newly implemented features, additional remarks had been gathered by the partnership for the improvement of the platform. During the second meeting session, the discussions shifted towards the external testing and the multiplier events led by Slovak partner SPK, along with the progress of IO3. The English materials will be compiled by mid-April, and as soon as a deliverable is completed, a coordinating partner from Hungary – TREBAG will issue them to the partners for translations. Following, the agenda proceeded with the discussion on the offline interactive training kit led by WEOPLE. The day concluded with a short presentation from Trebag about the IO3 deliverables, to highlight the important factors, as well as brief information from Cyprus partner DEKAPLUS reminding the partners about the half-year evaluation.
The aim of the second day of the project meeting was to discuss the dissemination and project management-related topics. The project partner responsible for dissemination, SPK, has prepared a proposal of best practices for promotion purposes. This led to a common discussion, together with awareness-raising topics on the project deliverables, including the offline card game as well. The third partner meeting
The third partner meeting of the EPIC project was held on the 2nd and 3rd of February, 2022 at the ground of Slovak Technical University in Bratislava, Slovakia.
Partners had the chance to meet in person as well as in the online space and discuss the goals and progress of the project. The EPIC partnership created a complex educational package for SMEs including online self-assessment tools, training materials, and an offline interactive training kit in the field of innovation and innovation management. Nowadays the partners are fine-tuning the materials. This will be followed by translation to national languages and testing of the educational package in all countries of partner consortium.
Project partners discussed also project management-related aspects and overall project dissemination activities. Agenda.
Third online meeting
The third online meeting of the EPIC project was held on the 12 of November, 2021. The main aim of the online meeting was to discuss the actual status and next steps of the IO2 and IO3 as well as project management related aspects.

TTA activity in Cyprus
The consortium achieved the next milestone! Between 12.10.2021 – 15.10.2021. the EPIC partnership had an opportunity to test the draft version of the complex educational package, and meet again after a long time. We tested the self-assessment tools, practical group exercises and the offline interactive training kit, while sharing experiences, good practices and ideas concerning the project deliverables. Now, we are working on the finetuning of the materials, in order to produce the best possible results.
We are very much looking forward to testing them with external participants.
First hybrid meeting
The first hybrid meeting was held on the 20th of July, 2021 and was hosted by Trebag, the project coordinator. The partnership had a chance to discuss the implementation, actual status, achieved results and next steps of the project. The offline interactive training kit development and features were given a prominent part on the meeting.
Second online meeting
The second online meeting of the EPIC project was held on the 23rd of June, 2021. The main aim of the online meeting was to discuss the results of the researches conducted in IO1 and next steps of the project.
First online meeting
The first online meeting of the EPIC project was held on the 24th and 25th of November, 2020. Partners had the chance to meet with each other in the online space and discuss about the goals and progress of the project. EPIC project will create a complex educational package for SMEs. This complex educational package will include online self-assessment tools, training materials and an offline interactive training kit in the field of innovation and innovation management.
